From Celebrating Riga’s Birthday to a Beach Trip! 2016 Summer was nice and sunny and while not many pictures, these show fun moments!

Original Description: More bubbles and kids were enjoying them all.

Making Bubbles

Original Description: Fishing rods for makeshift handles for the bubble maker…gotta admit, that's a pretty cool usage. The kids certainly agree with the results.

So Many Bubbles

Original Description: Like the title says…they were everywhere!

Original Description: Why is the sun so glaring?! At least the bubbles look cool.

Original Description: That's what it was. Looked odd, but sort of cool.

Original Description: So it says on the stone, it was where the ever first Christmas Tree in Riga placed.

Original Description: Nobody knows what the hell is that thing…

Original Description: Once part of a fortress, now museum. And with very beautiful greenery on during the summer.

Original Description: Walking my way back to the public transportation back to home through the park and saw people just chilling on the grass.

Really Not Clean

The Flower Wall

Original Description: Majori is one of the many parts that make up JĹ«rmala: a popular tourist attraction during the summer season. And this is one of the beauties of Majori.
Grandma, grandpa and I went to Majori to experience some last warm summer sun in September.

By the Sea

Original Description: This is a picture of me being taken on my phone by my grandma at the metal turtle. It's been years since the last time I had a pic by this old thing.

Original Description: It was September, but quite a lot of people came to catch the last rays of the summer sun.

The Calm Sea

Original Description: There weren't a lot of waves that day, so it was pretty quiet, despite the people. Grandma was surprised to see people actually swimming in the water.

Original Description: Well, we might pride ourselves with clean beaches, but these guys really ruin that image…and the smell, bleh!

Original Description: By the side of the hotel, there is a path for people to get from the JĹ«rmala Majori town to the beach, right by the giant metal turtle.

Original Description: Literally, barely reaches half of my foot.

Original Description: I've never seen one up-close before, so it was a surprise. There was quite a lot of dead ones or dying ones on the beach that day…

Original Description: Yuck! Imagine yourself having to run through that stuff just to get to the good waters.

This Happened!

Original Description: So, while I was guarding the table that we were going to eat at, this was happening at the neighboring table: sparrows were coming right at some guys lunch while he was away and ate it all. You don't see THAT in the big city.
